Worms Armageddon, published in 1999, recently received an extremely comprehensive update. The update adds some features similar to those of today’s 21st year game.
How many years can a game be updated? 10 years? 15 years? Honestly, this time is limited to the importance that developers give to the game. Team17 made it clear by publishing a comprehensive update to Worms Armageddon, celebrating its 21st anniversary this year.
Worms Armageddon, who met with the players in 1999, has received 370 bug fixes, 45 changes and 61 new features with the recent update. The update is a fact that makes the game more playable, even if it does not recreate it.
In the statement about the update by Team17, it was stated that the update, which was published completely free, turned into a much more enjoyable game with CPU optimizations, online encounters and advanced scheme options and many more additional features.
Publishing an explanation of the update on the Steam community page, Team17 also shared GIFs about the changes in the game and showed how the game’s high FPS support contributed to Worms Armageddon’s experience.
The game’s Steam store page has window mode support. You can also watch the introduction video below, where you can see the details of the Worms Armageddon 3.8 update.
