Apple has released the latest data on usage rates of iOS 14 and iPad OS 14 mobile operating systems. According to the statistics shared by the Cupertino company, as of February 24, 80 percent of all active iPhones have iOS 14 installed.
The rate is even higher in iPhones that have been released in the last 4 years. 86 percent of these devices run iOS 14. As of December 15, the usage rate of iOS 14 was 72 percent. The latest published data show that the operating system has become more common.
What’s the case with iPadOS 14?
There is a similar situation with iPadOS 14. The mobile operating system is used in 70 percent of all Apple-branded active tablets. It is installed in 84 percent of the devices that have been released in the last 4 years. 12 percent of all active iPhones still run iOS 13. The usage rate of iPadOS 13 on tablets is at the level of 14 percent.
