The Asus ROG Phone 5 is back in TENAA. The device that appears on TENAA today has the serial number I005DB, while the model seen in the previous leak was I005DA. The B model has a distinctly different background from the A, with the LED-backlit Republic of Gamers logo and other decorative elements slightly different.
A closer look at the back of the A model reveals a small Tencent Games logo. In the last few years, Asus has released a version of its gaming phone powered by Tencent, and the future model seems to be no different.
The last viewed leak means it is the mass-market version of the B model that we will see globally in the coming days. Note the small triangle under the camera in this version. This matches the unit that has a small secondary display on the back and was seen in the video leak.
Judging by the positioning of the Tencent Games logo and other stickers, this version can bypass this secondary screen (for the cheaper phone this makes sense).
In addition, it can be said that the specifications are the same, from the Snapdragon 888 chipset with 16 GB of RAM, the 6,000 mAh battery with 65W charge to the 6.78-inch AMOLED display with 144 Hz refresh rate.
