ADATA announced the high performance Gammix S70 Blade SSD under the XPG brand, where it develops internal and external components for gamers.
The model offers high sequential read / write performance.
We are here with a new solution that we share that SSDs have been quietly changing their controller and NAND Flashes in the past months.
Gammix S70 Blade
Cooled by a slim aluminum heat spreader, the Gammix S70 Blade consists of 3D TLC NAND Flashes controlled by an unshared controller. Supported by DRAM cache, NVMe SSD communicates with the system over the PCIe 4.0 x4 interface.
The S70 Blade, which will be offered in 1 and 2 TB capacity options, can reach speeds of 7400/6400 MB / s, respectively, in sequential read-write operations. Among the SSDs that can exhibit 650K / 740K IOPS in random read and write operations, 740 TBW withstand value is claimed for 1 TB capacity option, while this figure increases to 1480 when the capacity is increased to 2 TB.
Finally, SSDs in M.2 2280 format will be sold under a 5-year warranty. Let’s add that the prices of the models have not been shared yet.
