AMD has already launched Ryzen 5000 processors. On the other hand, users expect APUs from the company that they can install compact systems at affordable prices.
Early engineering sample Ryzen 7 5700G on sale
According to what has been shared so far, Ryzen 5000G APUs will be reserved for OEM manufacturers. By contrast, an eBay vendor has offered the early engineering example Ryzen 7 5700G for $ 500.
According to the AMD OPN code, the chip on sale has 8 cores and 16 threads, matching the model that was tested 1 month ago. It is stated that the Zen 3 architecture APU can reach 4.45 GHz, while customers have managed to pull the chip to higher frequencies.
However, since it is still in the early engineering stage, the Ryzen 7 5700G’s Vega iGPU cannot be used due to lack of drivers.
