AMD Ryzen 7 3800XT performance revealed
XT processors are expected to be introduced on June 16. Processors, which are expected to go on sale on July 7 after the introduction, come with the Zen 2 architecture. Compared to its predecessor Ryzen 3800X processor in the Ashes of the Singularity test, the 3800 XT experienced a huge performance boost.
As a result of the test carried out at 1920 × 1080 resolution, the 3800XT processor got 76.6 FPS and 7400 points. In the same test, its predecessor, Ryzen 3800X, received 60.3 FPS and 5800 points. Looking at the CPU frame rate in the tests, AMD Ryzen 7 3800XT performance comes true. CPU frame rate Ryzen 3800X scored 83.8 points, while XT managed to score 113.2 points. When looking at the difference in points, a 34 percent performance difference emerges.
Composed of 8 cores and 16 tracks, the 3800XT will go on sale at the same price as its predecessor 3800X. Along with the XT processors, there will be huge discounts on the prices of Ryzen 3000 processors. In addition to the new processors, Radeon RX 6000 series graphics cards are expected to be introduced in the summer.
The Ryzen 3800X has a 3.9 GHz base and a 4.5 GHz turbo frequency. The 3800XT has a 4.2 GHz base and a 4.7 GHz turbo frequency. Other XT processors are as follows:
Ryzen 3900XT: 4.1 GHz base and 4.8 GHz turbo clock speed. Its predecessor 3900X has a 3.8 GHz base and 4.6 GHz turbo frequency speed. Ryzen 3600XT: 4.0 GHz base and 4.7 GHz turbo clock speed. Its predecessor 3600X has a 3.8 GHz base and a 4.4 GHz turbo frequency.
