The cover on the mobile APUs to be presented by the red team in the coming years has been removed. The chips are expected to be the first mobile Ryzen APUs to rise on the Zen 4 architecture.
As the next generation APUs continue to be newly detailed, solutions to follow the next APUs are on the horizon.
According to the latest news, AMD’s Mobile Ryzen 7000 APUs will come under the code name Phoenix. Unlike the current Cezanne solutions and the FP7 socket that will follow Rembrandt, the reason for this change in chips to be switched to the FP8 socket is not yet known.
Since Rembrandt APUs will be used with DDR5 RAMs, it is emphasized that the change in the Phoenix codenamed chips may be the PCIe 5.0 interface.
Finally, although it is not confirmed for the Phoenix family, which is predicted to be future with the Zen 4 architecture, 5 nm node and the number of cores increasing accordingly are being discussed.
