AMD announced the low TDP AMD Ryzen 9 5900 and Ryzen 7 5800 models as part of the CES 2021 fair.
Announcing AMD HX mobile processors for laptop gaming computers at the CES 2021 event, AMD also announced AMD Ryzen 9 5900 and Ryzen 7 5800 desktop processors with low TDP.
With the statements made by AMD, it is stated that the new generation Ryzen 9 has a 12-core 24-thread processor. It is also stated that the processor, whose base operating frequency is 3.0 GHz, can also reach a maximum frequency of 4.7 GHz. In addition, it is among the information shared by AMD that the processor with all these features hosts 65W TDP value.
It is also stated that the processor, which has a cache of 70MB, as in the Ryzen 9 5900X model introduced in the past months, is 24 percent faster than the Ryzen 9 3900 at 1080p resolution.
AMD Ryzen 7 5800 Specs
The Ryzen 7 5800 comes with a 36MB cache. The model, which has an 8-core 16-thread structure, also hosts 3.4 GHz base frequency, 4.6 GHz peak frequency and 65W TDP values.
Although the processors with all these features have managed to attract the attention of users, it is worth noting that they are only for OEM manufacturers.
