Microsoft Product Director Panos Panay answered the curious questions about the next generation Windows at the Ignite 2021 conference. The future of Windows is extraordinary, according to Panay.

In an interview at the Ignite 2021 conference, Microsoft Product Director Panos Panay shared information about the future of the Windows platform. He stated that he is excited about the future of the operating system, but Microsoft is not yet ready to reveal details on this issue.

“Windows is a critical platform that connects people and helps them work as efficiently as possible. It’s the heart of modern work.” He added that currently more than a billion people use Windows daily for work, study and creativity.

It will come with big changes
“We continue to look at where technology can take us, what it does for us today, where we will be, and how technology can be used for you. Windows is the essence of all this. We have new features, I haven’t talked about the next generation of Windows and what will happen next, but that’s a lot for me. I can tell you excited. We’re not going to talk about that today. ” says the Microsoft manager.

Panos Panay talked about “new generation Windows”. This could mean that the software platform is about to come with major changes. Microsoft was currently known to be working on a major Sun Valley update for Windows 10, which is expected to be released later this year. In addition, Microsoft plans to launch the modular Windows 10X this year, with the first devices expected to be released in the spring.

Panay’s words could mean that Microsoft will reveal more about the future of Windows in the second half of the year. There are rumors that a separate event is planned entirely devoted to Windows, but there is no official information yet disclosed on this either.
