Apple is looking for engineers to research and design next generation (6G) wireless communication systems, according to a report from Bloomberg.
Although it’s only a few months since Apple launched its first 5G-enabled phone, Bloomberg’s Mark Gurman reports, the company is looking for engineers to work on the next generation of 6G wireless technology. It is stated that 6G technology, which is not known when it will be available, will offer access to speeds 100 times higher than 5G.
Apple’s breakthrough for 6G technology
Apple in the job announcement: “You will have a unique and rewarding opportunity to create next-generation wireless technology that will have a profound impact on future Apple products. In this role, you will be at the center of a cutting-edge research group responsible for creating next-generation radio access technologies over the next decade.” gave his statements.
The recruits will research and design the next generation (6G) wireless communication systems for radio access networks. In addition, they will participate in forums related to the subject when necessary.
Last November, it was reported that Apple joined the Next G Alliance, a coalition of companies focused on the development of 6G technology. With new job postings, Apple seems to want to be at the forefront of the development of 6G technology.
