Apple will introduce its new Fitness + service, starting at $ 9.99 on December 14th. So what will the new service offer?
What do we need to use the new service?
The new service requires you to have two Apple devices: an Apple Watch (Series 3 or higher) and an iPhone, iPad or Apple TV (4 / HD or 4K).
Fitness + will be found in the updated Fitness app. Basically, Fitness + is a fitness program that offers video workouts in a variety of disciplines in a regular, integrated and engaging manner. The trainers leading the training sessions seem like a big question mark in the Fitness + experience. Apple promises a list of enigmatic and passionate experts who will make your workouts even more enjoyable.
Training types supported at launch will include Treadmill (walking and running), Yoga, Strength, Dance, Cycling, Core, Rowing, and Mindful Cooldown. A separate program will also be available to get beginners ready to slowly take on the real calorie burning challenge. This is a very thoughtful approach for Apple. Most exercises only require a set of weights or no equipment at all.
Apple Fitness Plus subscription price and features
Fitness + will be available as a subscription service for $ 9.99 per month (US) or $ 79.99 per year (US).
Fitness + can be shared between up to six family members for the same price, making it easy for other Apple Watch users in the home to take advantage of the service.
Customers who purchase Apple Watch Series 3 or later will be gifted three months of Apple Fitness + and one month of Fitness + for existing Apple Watch users.
Apple Fitness + will also be included in the Apple One Premier plan.
You can follow the fitness + trainer team on Instagram with the username applefitnessplus.
The system, which will work in coordination with the smart watch, will monitor your heart rate, calories burned, speed, distance traveled, etc. will present a summary of various metrics and achievements.
