ZACK SNYDER WON’T DISCLAIM ANY NEW ARMY OF THE DEAD DELIVERY. HAS AN IDEA ABOUT IT, BUT MISSING TO POLISH IT AT ALL
Just last week the Army of the Dead movie was released, which is one of the Netflix exclusives for this year. It is a work by director Zack Snyder, who in this way returns to the zombie subgenre.
At present, it is known that it will be expanded through a couple of new productions. One of them will be in the form of an animated series, which is called Army of the Dead: Lost Vegas, which is not yet dated.
ARMY OF THE DEAD recently premiered on NETFLIX
But if it is known that it will also join the Netflix catalog. The other project has a slightly different name as it is Army of Thieves and it is a spin-off.
It is a film focused on one of the characters, Dieter, who is played by Matthias Schweighöfer. But neither the series nor this film fall into the category of sequels. So it doesn’t hurt to hear what Snyder himself says about it. That was in a recent interview.
In front of a well-known outlet, he commented, ‘Look, if there was ever a wish for more Army of the Dead, Shay and I know exactly where the story is going. So, yes, we are ready. ‘
It’s not just Zack Snyder who is ready for a sequel. The same can be said for one of the actors, Omari Hardwick, who plays Vanderohe in this movie. That is what the statements of this 47-year-old artist show, which he shared in the talk.
ZACK SNYDER HAS SOME IDEAS FOR THE SEQUEL
‘There is hope for all the fans who don’t mind looking at Omari’s mug, or not continuing my journey as an actor. There is some hope, ‘he began by saying.
To the above, he added, “definitely, there have been some conversations about maybe, maybe and what ifs.” Here it should be noted that the above sounds extremely ambiguous. It implies that nothing is safe. That is, there is no contract in between for a sequel.
At least Snyder has an idea of how to continue the story. As for the current film, it has had a more or less positive reception.
It has 71% from the specialized critics, and 77% from the audience. It is more than a film for entertainment, and it does not have as much depth as other films in which this filmmaker has participated. Sure, unless a few years later it doesn’t occur to him to make an extended version.
