Asus introduces the world’s first 32 ”HDMI 2.1 gaming monitor, ROG Swift PG32UQ, ROG Claymore II keyboard and ROG Gladius III Wireless mouse

 

 

ASUS Republic of Gamers (ROG) announced its first interactive experience and an exciting line of gaming weapons and technologies at the CES 2021 ROG For Those Who Dare virtual launch event. At the event, the ROG Swift PG32UQ 4K 144 Hz gaming monitor with 32 ”ROG Swift PG32UQ 4K 144 Hz support for console and PC gaming, as well as the ROG Claymore II gaming keyboard and ROG Gladius III Wireless gaming mouse were introduced for the first time. These latest products and more can be discovered in the ROG Citadel XV, a cross-border interactive experience featured during the ROG For Those Who Dare virtual event live stream and is available for free on Steam.

ROG Citadel XV extends ROG hardware and software into game content to enrich the gaming ecosystem and overall gaming experience. The experience takes players to the ROG Citadel underground fortress, where they will experience the latest ROG products and technologies. A few futuristic Cyberpunk-inspired lab greets gamers to see the new world of ROG. Lab designs reflect the ROG design language based on the Vanguard, Fusion and Rebel themes. Once inside the castle, he can unlock the arcade-inspired first-person shooter mini game, where participants can test their aim and reflexes by taking down three-dimensional targets moving on the screen.

 

ROG Swift PG32UQ

ROG Swift PG32UQ, the world’s first 32 ”HDMI 2.1 gaming monitor, draws attention with its 1 ms motion picture response time (MPRT) and 144 Hz IPS panel. The monitor has two HDMI 2.1 ports to support 4K visuals at up to 120 Hz on the latest game consoles. PG32UQ also supports Display Stream Compression (DSC) technology, which is a compression standard for transporting ultra-high resolution video streams over a single interface at high speed and without any perceptible loss in visual quality, and can deliver 4K 144 Hz images through a single DisplayPort 1.4 connection.

The PG32UQ is G-SYNC compatible and features ASUS Extreme Low Motion Blur Sync (ELMB Sync) technology and ASUS Variable Overdrive technology for consistent and smooth visuals at variable frame rates.

With DisplayHDR 600 compatibility, the PG32UQ supports 160% sRGB and 98% DCI-P3 color gamut and comes pre-calibrated out of the box at the factory to guarantee Delta E <2 color accuracy. The ROG Swift PG32UQ is expected to be available at the end of the first quarter of 2021.

 

ROG Claymore II

ROG Claymore II is the first mechanical RGB gaming keyboard to feature ROG RX Blue Optical Mechanical Switches using a hollow square body design and embedded RGB LEDs for all-direction key-per-key lighting. The unique key design, which provides a near-zero reversal delay, triggers keys immediately when pressed. The hollow square body, four keycap corner latches and X-stabilizer mechanism provide consistent and non-wobble keystrokes, while a 100 million keystroke lifespan offers exceptional durability. Claymore II will also be among us with the ROG RX Red switch model.

The Claymore II has a magnetic wrist rest and a detachable numeric keypad that can be attached to either side of the 80% length of the keyboard to suit a variety of gaming styles and gaming setups. The numeric keypad includes four media control keys that can be customized for productivity shortcuts or macro commands, as well as a scroll wheel for adjusting the volume.

Wired USB-C and 2.4 GHz RF wireless connections provide lag-free connections. The 4000 mAh battery provides up to 40 hours of use on a single charge, while the USB-C connection also supports fast charging or USB pass-through for other devices. Claymore II also includes wireless Aura Sync lighting synchronization and Armory Crate software support for a host of customization options.

 

ROG Gladius III Wireless

ROG Gladius III Wireless is an ergonomic 19,000 dpi gaming mouse with advanced three-mode connectivity with wired, wireless 2.4 GHz RF and Bluetooth modes. The new and exclusive Push-Fit Switch Socket II supports both traditional 3-pin mechanical and 5-pin Omron optical micro switches, allowing the user to customize the button click and feel to their preferences. Users can also replace worn switches to increase the mouse’s lifespan. The revolutionary zero-click latency provides real-time responsiveness, while the flexible, low-drag ROG Paracord cable and 100% TPFE ROG Omni mouse feet with rounded edges provide a smooth glide. A wired version of ROG Gladius III is also available.
