The screenwriter of the new movie Blade, which will join the Marvel Cinematic Universe, has become clear.

Stacy Osei-Kuffour, who we know from the TV series Watchmen, will be working on the script for the movie Blade with Mahershala Ali.

Blade, a legendary character from Marvel, is preparing to return to the big screen soon with a brand new movie. As the work for the highly anticipated new movie continues, a surprise news came from the movie today. According to the news in The Hollywood Reporter, the script for the new Blade movie will be prepared by screenwriter Stacy Osei-Kuffour, who previously worked on the TV series Watchmen.

In addition to Watchmen, Stacy Osei-Kuffour also worked on the Amazon Prime Video series Hunters with Al Pacino and Run on HBO. In the news of THR, it was stated that Mahershala Ali, the leading actor, was also involved in the screenwriting process for the movie Blade. It is said that only black screenwriters were taken into account in the selection process.

We currently have almost no information about the new Blade project. The subject of the film, the cast or the date of the vision has not been determined yet. We could say that the movie has been released for years, but Blade fans are already getting excited.

The original Blade trilogy, starring Wesley Snipes, was widely admired by moviegoers. In particular, Blade (1998) and Blade II (2002) still have many fans. It can be said that the new Blade movie also has great potential in terms of box office revenue.
