The stoppage due to the coronavirus has led those involved in many series and movies to come together to make the quarantine more bearable. Actor Josh Gad has taken advantage of this situation to organize several of these reunions for charitable purposes. A few days ago he did it with ‘Los Goonies’ and this time it was the turn of ‘Back to the future’.
The meeting took place within the ‘Reunited Apart’ web series to raise funds for the Project HOPE association and it included Michael J. Fox, Christopher Lloyd, Lea Thompson, Elisabeth Shue, Mary Steenburgen, Robert Zemeckis, co-writer Bob Gale, composer Alan Silvestri, musician Huey Lewis and JJ Abrams as a fan of the saga.
Ideas for a possible part 4
Obviously, one of the topics covered is the possibility of a new installment, joking with the possibility that Doc and Marty travel to January 2020 to warn us about the coronavirus or that the characters find out that another movie is being made. the saga and travel to prevent it. However, Robert Zemeckis is blunt and says that if there were any ideas, they would have already done so.
Among the absences at the meeting are those of Tom F. Wilson, who gave the mythical Biff Tannen, and Crispin Glover, who played George McFly in the first installment. Neither of them likes to talk too much about their involvement in the franchise, so it’s no surprise either.
