Former UFC champion Eddie Alvarez announced his first Bitcoin (BTC) purchase on Twitter. Alvarez received exactly 1 BTC, making him a member of his private “21 million clubs” (about 0.3 percent of the world’s population).
All right @Benaskren I finally jumped in and grabbed 1 Bitcoin , I can’t sit on the sidelines any longer . You got me !!! I still have no clue what it’s all about but I’m in … you might have to coach me they this .

Alvarez stated that another fighter, Ben Askren, was the one who put him in Bitcoin. Alvarez followed Askren’s wise advice on buying BTC and became a member of the cryptocurrency community. Their competitor Conor McGregor is one of those who have no idea what Bitcoin is. However, Alvarez wants him to learn the world’s first cryptocurrency from Askren.
With a net worth of about $ 8 million, the former UFC champion can definitely buy more than one BTC.
Chiliz signs agreement with UFC
On the other hand, Chiliz, which has made agreements with many important sports clubs and developed fan tokens, has now partnered with UFC. UFC is now followed by hundreds of millions of people. This makes it an ideal area for the adoption of the cryptocurrency sector.
