The new Black Shark 4 with fast charging support has been officially confirmed with the new certificate it received! How fast is this!
Black Shark 4 and 4 Pro models are officially introduced with 120W fast charging. The official promo poster that came out recently went into a little more detail. The 4,500 mAh battery with new monster fast charging support can be charged in under 15 minutes with a 120W charger. And now, thanks to the 3C certification, we have the details about the charger itself.
A monster with model number MDY-12-ED, with the power unit in question. It stands out with the note “only for 5.000 m and below altitude” at 20V output at 6A current. This does not seem to be a problem, as a quick check of Wikipedia shows that there are no major cities near the 5,000m mark. Probably, this detail is about charging the device on airplanes.
Both Black Shark 4 models will support a 120W charger. One is named KSR-A0 (“Kaiser”), the other is named PRS-A0 (“Penrose”). However, it is not 100% clear which is the Pro and which is the standard version. Both will be powered by Snapdragon 888 chipsets.
The Kaiser version was opened on the Google Play Console with 8 GB of RAM and a screen resolution of 1,080 × 2,400 pixels. TENAA lists the screen size as 6.67 inches and the thickness of the phone as 10.3 mm. His brother Penrose was also leaked to GPC with 12 GB of RAM.
Despite several official advertisements, there is still no announcement date for the Black Shark 4 duo. Rumors indicate that their promotion will be in March, but there is no confirmation from the company itself.
