Black Shark, one of the sub-brands of Chinese Xiaomi, is preparing to introduce the Black Shark 4 smartphone soon. The technical specifications of the phone with model number SHARK KSR-A0 were revealed by TENAA in China. This leak indicates that the new model will come with a 6.67-inch FHD + resolution AMOLED display with 120Hz refresh rate, just like the Black Shark 3S.
The Black Shark 4 is said to have a perforated screen compared to the non-notch screen on the previous model. In other words, the camera will be added to the screen in the form of a notch, not a notch. The TENAA certification also shows that the phone will be 163.83 x 76.35 x 10.3 mm and will be out of the box with Android 11.
The phone, which will be powered by the Snapdragon 888 chipset like the 2021 flagship models, is expected to have 12 GB of RAM. In the AnTuTu test, the record-breaking phone manages to get exactly 788,505 points.
Black Shark CEO Luo Yuzhou confirmed last month that the phone will pack a dual-cell 4500mAh battery that can charge in less than 15 minutes with support for 120W fast charging. It is said that the Black Shark 4 will come with a high-efficiency battery with 98.5 percent charging efficiency, which will greatly reduce heat loss and increase charging efficiency. Another player phone, Nubia Red Magic 6, which will be introduced soon, will come with a similar battery capacity and charging standards.
Black Shark 4 is expected to be introduced at the end of February or March 2021. Let’s see if the hype of player phones will continue this year as well.
