During a recent episode of his podcast, WWE’s Hall Of Famer Arn Anderson spoke about The Undertaker’s loss to Brock Lesnar at WrestleMania XXX ending his historic streak of 21 wins and no losses in the biggest event of the year for WWE. Here are his highlights (transcript courtesy of Wrestling Inc.):

He thinks Brock Lesnar shouldn’t have won

“Without disrespecting Brock Lesnar, I don’t think Taker’s streak should have been broken. He should still be undefeated. It’s the most special thing ever. It’s more special than any world title victory. It’s one of those things. which happens very rarely and the character fits in with the story. ”

“There is no one in any of those WrestleManias whom Taker has defeated who clearly stated that he was going to lose that night. I don’t think anyone thought he was going to lose, and he is the type who can achieve that. Sometimes when it’s the right thing to do, do it. ”

Think The Undertaker should have retired undefeated

“Leaving him undefeated would have been perfect. Let him go. Let him retire. Let him enter the Hall Of Fame and let his streak go, even 30-0. It would have been monumental.”

“I don’t think Brock needed that victory to convince anyone that he was one of the best. It was just one of those things that weren’t necessary.”

He talked about the reputation of The Undertaker
“I often say that The Undertaker is probably the most respected guy who has been in this business. He is the locker room leader. He gets out there and leads by example. He works injured and leaves his skin in the ring.”
