BTS fans are still under the influence of the recent Dynamite, the current single from the boys in the k-pop group, released last month amid the pandemic of the new coronavirus. Now, the band announces a new album for November 20, deluxe version, entitled BE.
This time around, the boys are much more involved in the project as a whole, from song design to production, according to a statement from the group to Variety magazine .
“For this particular album, the septet took it a step further and became involved not only in the process of making music, but also in the entire production: concept, composition, design. It reflects the deepest thoughts, emotions and reflections about BTS while working on the album. This new project offers an even richer music spectrum experience, as well as the most ‘BTS’ music so far ”, emphasizes the promotion.
Also according to the statement by Big Hit Entertainment, the album BE (Deluxe Edition) wants to convey a message in the midst of the pandemic of covid-19: “Even in the face of this new normality, our life continues”.
With Dynamite, BTS held the top spot on the Billboard Hot 100, which measures sales, playback on streaming platforms and radio broadcasts in the United States, and has been in that spot for three weeks. This is an unprecedented achievement for South Korean music in American territory. Two years ago, Maroon 5 with Cardi B repeated the feat with the song Girls Lilke You, which reached the top of the list for seven weeks.
And since this Monday, 28, BTS will be on Jimmy Fallon’s show for an entire week. The event was titled ‘BTS Week’ on The Tonight Show.
“I’m very excited to have BTS back on the show. We just started the new season and we are working on a lot of really exciting things, ”Fallon told Entertainment Weekly.
