BTS again donated some of their money to help people in need.
In the midst of the COVID-19 pandemic, the organizers and concert crew were definitely the ones affected.
Lots of events and concerts have to be canceled during the COVID-19 pandemic. So for those who most of their income comes from concerts have difficulty meeting their daily needs.
Therefore, BTS and Big Hit Entertainment have recently donated cash of 1 million US Dollars or around 14.2 billion Rupiah to Crew Nation.
Crew Nation is a campaign created by Live Nation, which invites artists, fans and crew to donate some of their money in order to help those affected by COVID-19.
Later Crew Nation will give 1000 US Dollars (14.2 million Rupiah) to each crew whose main income above 50% comes from the concert.
Organizers of the Crew Nation said, “This is the biggest donation ever given by artists since the Crew Nation campaign was held.”
As fans know, BTS has previously also postponed and canceled their various concert tours in the world, so that many crew members were affected by the cancellation of the concert tour.
BTS said, “If it wasn’t for COVID-19, now we would be doing a concert tour in various countries with happy hearts with the crew. We are aware that this community needs help because of COVID-19, so we want to support the music industry by making donations. We hope to see you again soon on the stage. ”
Previously, BTS and Big Hit Entertainment also contributed 1 million US Dollars to the Black Lives Matter movement, as well as ARMY who also contributed 1 million US dollars in cash.
