‘Love Myself’ is a campaign that began in 2017, which aims to end violence against children and young people around the world.
The ‘UNICEF Inspire Award 2020’ is an award given to UNICEF campaigns that have made a significant impact and contribution throughout the world.
This year there were 100 campaigns from 50 countries that were considered to get awards in 18 different categories, and ‘Love Myself’ was one of the 100 campaigns that won the award.
Lee Ki Cheol as a representative of UNICEF Korea said, “The message from BTS that all people need to love themselves in order to love others has created positive transformations throughout the world. I believe this award is the result of the positive influence of BTS because they give courage and comfort to children and young people around the world. ”
“As a fellow Korean citizen, I am truly proud to have received this award, and I want to use this opportunity to thank BTS and Big Hit Entertainment once again for always actively supporting the #ENDviolence campaign from UNICEF,” he concluded.
With this, BTS has once again proven their positive influence throughout the world.
