THE ACTOR COULD BE CLOSE TO REACHING AN AGREEMENT TO RE-PLAY STEVE ROGERS
The Avengers: Endgame movie put an end to the story of two of the most iconic characters in the Marvel Cinematic Universe, Ironman and Captain America.
While the first, played by Robert Downey Jr., died after using the infinity gems to defeat Thanos, the second (Chris Evans) said goodbye to his years of service to live a quiet life with Peggy Carter, handing him the shield. to his friend Sam Wilson.
However, what seemed like a final goodbye might not be, as it was revealed that actor Chris Evans would be in talks to reprise his role as Steve Rogers in a new MCU project.
According to reports from the Deadline site, Captain America would return in at least one upcoming movie, although it would not be in a starring role, but rather as a cameo, as Ironman used to do in other films of the Marvel Cinematic Universe.
CHRIS EVANS IS ‘SURPRISED’ BY THE NEWS
The possibility of Captain America reappearing in a movie caused thousands of fans to explode with joy on social networks, so many of them sent messages to Chris Evans’ official Twitter account.
The actor who gave life to Steve Rogers noticed the thousands of tweets about it, but only limited himself to saying that it also “is news to me”, knowing that he would put on the Captain America uniform again.
We are not sure if Chris Evans actually tried to disprove Deadline’s information, or if it was just a way of diverting information about it. What we do know is that there are many of us who would like to see ‘Cap’ again in the MCU.
