Google adds new capabilities to enable users to check their passwords with the Chrome 88 update.
The new version allows you to define weak passwords and replace them with stronger ones. After receiving the update, you can easily check the strength of your password by clicking the key icon under your profile picture. Alternatively, you can also type chrome: // settings / passwords in the address bar to jump directly to the same area in Chrome settings.
Chrome 88 also makes it easy to update multiple usernames and passwords in one place. Note that the internet browser already allows anyone to update their passwords when they log into websites. You can also manage and update your saved passwords in Chrome settings on desktop and iOS. It is stated that this feature will come later for Android devices.
All these updates will be available to all Chrome users in the next few weeks. However, Google promises to offer more password features this year.
