It seems that Intel is preparing a model that will be positioned between the Core i9-11980HK and the Core i9-11900H. The chip was tested running on HP’s workstation laptop.
Intel continues to add intermediate models prior to the introduction of Tiger Lake-H processors, which remain less than 2 weeks.
The last laptop tested on Geekbench is powered by Intel’s 8/16 Core i9-11950H processor. The base frequency of the processor, which will be located between the Core i9-11980Hk and Core i9-11900H, is determined as 2.6 GHz, as in the Core i9-11980HK, while the chip does not carry the K suffix indicates that the overclock lock will take place.
The Core i9-11950H, which scored 1365/6266 points in the test, is ahead of the Core i9-10885H, but it is not faster than the sub-solutions in its family. The model is considered not to operate at full performance.
It is expected that the processor in HP’s mobile workstation ZBook Studio 15.6 G8 laptop will be accompanied by Nvidia’s Quadro graphics cards. Finally, let’s remind you that Tiger Lake-H processors will be introduced on May 11th.
