The Binance team plans to provide 1,000 oxygen connectors to support India’s efforts to contain the second wave of the coronavirus pandemic.
Binance CEO Changpeng Zhao (CZ) stated on Twitter that the aid team has secured 175 oxygen connectors worth $ 200,000. However, oxygen connectors will be able to reach Indian hospitals within seven days. The team is also working to provide more than 1,000 connectors in India.

Binance has also been added to the list of crypto institutions helping India fight the epidemic. In addition, several other organizations are helping India overcome this pandemic situation.
Recently, Binance’s owner, WazirX Exchange, donated INR 8 Crore ($ 1.08 million). Moreover, Nischal Shetty, CEO of WazirX, stated on Twitter that their organization will fund Covid Relief. He also called for them to contribute to other initiatives.
Additionally, cryptocurrency exchange Coinswitch Kuber also donated $ 1,000,000 for the same purpose. Ethereum co-founder Vitalik Buterin recently announced that he donated 100 ETH and 100 MKR of about $ 650,000.
Other donors include former Coinbase CTO and board partner of VC firm Andreessen Horowitz and Balaji Srinivasan. They donated almost 21.74 ETH worth about $ 50,000. Also Australian, Brett Lee, donated Bitcoin to the Covid Relief fund run by Polygon co-founder Sandeep Nailwal.
