Cyberpunk 2077, which left its mark on the game industry due to its problematic output and was highly criticized by the players, returned to the PlayStation Store.
Cyberpunk 2077, which was released with great hopes in December last year, unfortunately caused a great disappointment due to errors. In fact, there were so many serious errors in the game that Sony removed Cyberpunk 2077 from the PlayStation Store after intense complaints from the players and refunded the players. After all these events, CD Projekt RED, which started to work again, released patches to fix the game this time, and finally came up with the Cyberpunk 2077 Patch 1.23 update. The developer studio, which somewhat reduced the errors in the game, also pointed out that Cyberpunk 2077 could return to the PlayStation Store. As the developer studio pointed out, Cyberpunk 2077 has been re-released on the PlayStation Store.
CD Projekt RED also made some warnings to PlayStation users about the game, which was re-released about 6 months after it was removed from the PlayStation store. Noting that they are working hard to increase the stability of Cyberpunk 2077 on all platforms, the company reported that there are still some performance problems in the PlayStation 4 version of the game. However, the studio stated that they will fix these performance problems in the PlayStation 4 version of the game as soon as possible.
Apart from this, the studio especially underlined that the PS4 Pro and PS5 models provide the best experience of the game on PlayStation after the latest edits. Warning the players in a similar way, Sony also gave the following explanations on the PlayStation Store page of the game:
“Users continue to experience performance issues with this game. It is not recommended to be purchased for use on PS4 systems. Play the game on PS4 Pro and PS5 systems for the best Cyberpunk experience on PlayStation.”
