According to the information shared by reliable sources, it was claimed that the new Call of Duty game was developed by Sledgehammer Games.
Activision has confirmed that the new Call of Duty game, which will be released this year, will be released towards the end of 2021. However, the company did not reveal which series the game in question will belong to and which studio will be developed. While the new game of the series was eagerly awaited by the players, a new development took place today. A Twitter user named ModernWarzone, known for his previously hit leaks, claimed that the production, which will come out later this year, was developed by Sledgehammer Games.
As you know, Sledgehammer Games has previously appeared with CoD: WWII, Modern Warfare 3 and Advanced Warfare productions. After this claim, it became a matter of curiosity which series the new game will belong to. According to the reports shared on the subject, the studio in question is allegedly working on Advanced Warfare 2 or a new series. In addition, in another report, it is stated that the game in question may belong to the Modern Warfare series, although it is very unlikely.
For now, there has been no official statement from the Activision front regarding these allegations. However, Activision is expected to share the first information about the new game of the series with the players next spring.
