The zombie horror movie “Train to Busan” meant Yeon Sang-ho his unexpected entry into the public eye and Hollywood’s close attention to his work.

According to information from Screen Daily, the Korean director will be back with a Netflix-produced horror show titled “Hellbound.”

Yeon will work on the script with illustrator Choi Gyu-seok, an artist known for his webtoon “Songgot” in Korea, which was adapted for television in 2015.

“Hellbound” will tell a similarly chaotic story to “Train to Busan.” The new Netflix series will be set in a society in chaos after a handful of supernatural beings appear and begin to condemn people to hell.
