ESA made a statement about the E3 2021 date, which will be held digitally and free of charge.The E3 2021 date has been announced by the Entertainment Software Association (ESA).
Accordingly, the event will be held only digitally and free of charge between 12-15 June. ESA believes that E3 will return in June 2022 as a live, physical event at the Los Angeles Convention Center.
Virtual broadcasts and announcements at the event will be available online through all major video platforms as well as the E3 2021 portal and supporting mobile app. Xbox, Nintendo, Capcom, Konami, Ubisoft, Take-Two Interactive, Warner Bros. Names like Games and Koch Media have already confirmed that they will be at the event to showcase their upcoming games. On the other hand, Sony, Square Enix, Electronic Arts and Activision Blizzard will most likely organize their own events.
Stanley Pierre-Louis, ESA President and CEO, said about E3 2021: “For more than two decades, E3 has been the premier venue to showcase the best the video game industry has to offer in connecting the world through games. We’re transforming this year’s E3 into a more inclusive event, but we’ll still try to excite fans with great promotions and insider opportunities that make this event the indispensable centerpiece of video games. ”
In the meantime, a special pre-E3 media days will be held between June 7-11. In other words, we may have heard of some games before the digital event.
