Tesla founder Elon Musk announced that the production of vehicles with level 5 autonomous driving technology can take place by the end of the year.
Tesla CEO Elon Musk, who participated in the opening of the World Artificial Intelligence Conference (WAIC) held in Shanghai, China, was the first Gigafactory to produce and launch vehicles with the 5th level autonomous driving technology. He made explanations on many topics, from his facility in Shanghai.
Musk stressed that the production of vehicles with level 5 autonomous driving technology could be until the end of the year and they were very close. Musk stressed that Tesla has no basic difficulties in reaching level 5 autonomy. In addition, Musk stated that data in the world is incomparable when it comes to developing fully automatic driving systems.
Referring to his facility in Shanghai, which is the first Gigafactory outside of America, Musk said he was impatient to visit there, that Model 3 was produced at the facility, and Tesla’s new small crossover car, Model Y, continued unabated.
On the other hand, WAIC 2020 will continue in Shanghai from July 9 to July 11.
