Japanese Prime Minister Shinzo Abe announced that they have lifted the declared epidemic of the Corona virus, as of today, the capital city of Tokyo and the last four regions where the emergency is valid. Abe pointed out that, despite this decision, emergency rules would come into effect again if deemed necessary.

Although the quarantine measures were loosened in many regions on May 14 in the country, emergency rules continued to apply in Tokyo and four other regions where the epidemic was effective.

The Prime Minister of Japan said that they took control of the epidemic within a month and a half, which showed the success of the emergency model implemented by Japan.

However, in a survey conducted by Asahi, one of the country’s leading newspapers, public support for Prime Minister Abe has dropped to its lowest level since it was re-launched in 2012 and dropped to 29 percent.

In Japan, the government announced a $ 1 trillion economic support package due to the Corona virus outbreak.
