Evangelion news: IT SEEMS THEY WANT TO PUT A ‘UNTIL HERE’ TO THIS SITUATION
Animation studios, manga authors themselves, and other writers of light works often face the displeasure of fans who sometimes disagree with the endings of the works. The staff behind Evangelion 3.0 + 1.0 have now been the victim of harassment and other deplorable actions.
So that these acts are not overlooked, Studio Khara, the team that was responsible for the production of Evangelion 3.0 + 1.0, decided to publish on their social networks – including in English – that they will take all necessary measures against these regrettable acts against its workers and collaborators.
Although there may be a clear dislike for the outcome of a story, we could even say that expressing a criticism is not bad, what is a mistake is to go beyond the line where death threats are already coming and no matter how bad it is, no there should be room for harassment.
Studio Khara says that at least in Japan it will take the respective actions to defend the team that was behind Evangelion 3.0 + 1.0. In other words, the respective authorities in Japan.
LEGAL ACTIONS AGAINST THE EVANGELION 3.0 + 1.0 STAFF WILL NOT STAY IN JAPAN
If you thought that Studio Khara would be left alone solving the domestic issues of Evangelion 3.0 + 1.0, let us tell you that it will not be like that, because this is going to spread to other countries where online harassment is present.
This, to some, should seem like a bit of an exaggerated measure, but taking the lives of people who were just doing their job is what cannot be ignored.
As we mentioned before, you may or may not like the result of what you saw in Evangelion 3.0 + 1.0, but nothing will justify death threats or harassment. We’ll see if the defamation lawsuits and such will begin.
