First of all, it should be noted that the RedmiK40 and K40 Pro models will be introduced as part of an event to be held in China on February 25.

Processor revealed in Redmi K40 series
In one of the posts made by Redmi, the processor that will power the phone also became certain. As expected, the RedmiK40 Pro will be powered by Qualcomm’s eight-core top processor Snapdragon 888 with a 5nm manufacturing process. Let us remind you that Xiaomi used the same processor in the Mi 11 model before. For the K40, the processor is expected to be Snapdragon 870.
RedmiK40 and RedmiK40 Pro models with 163.7 × 76.4 × 7.8mm dimensions and 4500mAh battery with 33W / 55W fast charging support have previously passed the certification process in China. On the memory side, phones that will have LPDDR5 RAM and UFS 3.1 standards have a screen refresh rate of 120Hz.
The screen size of the smartphones that Redmi will announce in a few days remains a mystery. However, at this point, the company is expected to continue the design approach to the front camera embedded in the screen. The screen is expected to be 6.81 inches in size, Full HD + and 2K resolution. The pleasing detail is that the RedmiK40 series will be priced below Mi 11 at the price point.
