Samsung and AMD announced last year that they have established a partnership for new mobile processors. Although it has been featured in flagship and other models of Exynos processors for a long time, it has been on the agenda with Qualcomm recently.
Galaxy S and Note series are launched with two different processors, Qualcomm and Exynos. However, Qualcomm processors became more advantageous, and the Exynos processor caused the users to react.
Exynos 1000 challenges its rivals with Radeon GPU!
Exynos 1000, the new processor of the South Korean tech giant, has leaked. The biggest feature of this processor is that it hosts RDNA GPU technology. When we compare it with the current Financial GPUs in Samsung’s processors, there is a serious performance difference.
To talk about the numbers: We see that the Exynos 1000 received 181.8 FPS from the Manhattan 3.1 test. Adreno 650 GPU, which is within the structure of Snapdragon 865, the most powerful mobile processor of Qualcomm, gets 123 FPS.
In other words, there is a performance difference of almost 50 percent. In this case, Samsung has the chance to end performance discussions next year. Of course, the performance of the processor that Qualcomm will present remains unknown.
The Exynos 1000, which will be produced with a 5 nm fabrication process, is expected to be released at the end of this year or early next year. For this reason, we will not be able to see it in the Galaxy Note 20, which will be released in the second half of the year.
