Cryptocurrency exchange Liquid excluded 27 cryptocurrencies from its platform. These include known cryptocurrencies such as Monero (XMR), Stellar (XLM), NEO (NEO) and Zcash (ZEC).
Liquid, one of the popular crypto exchanges, has decided to remove a large number of cryptocurrencies from its platform.
In the official statement from the stock exchange, it was stated that this decision was taken to obtain a payment service license in Singapore, and it was said:
“We are excited to announce that Liquid has become a licensed cryptocurrency operator in Singapore. Some tokens already listed due to Singapore law will no longer be able to be bought and sold on Liquid and will be removed from the market. We are still in talks with the regulators for some of these tokens and may be listed again in the near future. ”
Crypto coins issued from the stock exchange are listed as follows:
SNX, MITH, DRG, WLO, STORJ, WIN, VUU, XNK, PPL, ENJ, AMLT, DENT, FSN, GEN, LND, MITX, SPHTX, MRK, BRC, XMR, NEO, IPSX, ADH, ZEC, IHF, PMA, XLM
As of July 24, 2020, trading on these cryptocurrencies has been terminated.
Seth Melamed, the company’s responsible for operations, said he was in the final stages of applying for a stock market license to the country’s financial regulatory body, the Monetary Authority of Singapore (MAS), under the Payment Services Act.
