To help initiate network activity, Flare Networks will airdrop over 40 billion FLR tokens to all XRP token holders.Flare Networks announced the number of Spark (FLR) tokens it will give to XRP holders who meet the requirements.

Users who hold XRP on exchanges such as Coinbase, Kraken, Binance, Bitstamp and other exchanges will receive this airdrop. Users have until June 11, 2021 to request their tokens.

Flare ignited the XRP craze

Flare Networks CEO and co-founder Hugo Philion stated that the total distribution has increased from 45 billion to approximately 45.83 billion.

The reason for this average 0.83 billion increase is due to Ripple holding XRP on behalf of a charity. It is also possible for this organization to request the FLR airdrop. However, the total FLR created will remain unchanged, with a total of 100 billion FLR tokens created.

XRP holders who are eligible to receive the airdrop will receive 1,0073 FLR tokens for each XRP they hold during the December 12 snapshot. For example, an eligible user with 100 XRP will receive 100.73 FLR tokens.

The first distribution round at the Flare Networks launch will transfer 15% of the total demand amount to users. Users will receive the remaining FLR tokens within the next 25 to 34 months.
