FNC has released a statement explaining that Rowoon has been injured and announcing legal measures to protect SF9 from malicious comments.
Take a look at the FNC release below:
Hello, we are FNC Entertainment.
We would like to thank all the fans who love SF9, but we have some unfortunate news to share about member Rowoon.
On the night of July 15, during a scheduled SF9 group activity, Rowoon expressed back and knee pain.
After undergoing a thorough examination in the hospital on the morning of July 16, the doctor advised him to avoid intense movements, including the current choreography, and shared that if he uses his body too much, his physical condition will worsen.
Based on the physician’s recommendation, it was decided that Rowoon’s [participation] in scheduled activities will inevitably be adjusted.
Until Rowoon fully recovers, we will do our best to ensure that he can safely participate in promised activities with fans, except for activities accompanied by intense choreography.
As for your NOOB CON online concert which is scheduled for August 8th, it will be temporarily postponed to show the best performance possible, so we ask for your understanding.
With the health of our artists as a priority, we will do everything we can to ensure Rowoon’s speedy recovery and that his injury does not deteriorate further.
We will also share updates on Rowoon’s recovery process and his future activities so as not to worry fans.
Finally, for the protection of our artists, we are considering strong legal action against the spread of malicious rumors and unfounded slander regarding SF9.
We ask for your continued support and love for future SF9 activities.
We wish Rowoon of SF9 a speedy recovery. Leave your comment on our Facebook page or on our Twitter account. Also, share the news on your social networks!
