OnePlus founder and former manager Carl Pei announced his new company, which means nothing. So what will Nothing do?
Carl Pei, one of the founders of OnePlus, parted ways with OnePlus. Pei anticipated his new venture, announcing his new company, Nothing, which means nothing.
Backed by highly high-profile investors such as YouTuber Casey Neistat, Twitch co-founder Kevin Lin and Reddit CEO Steve Huffman, Pei said it aims to remove barriers between people and technology to create a seamless digital future.
Unlike OnePlus, which is supported by Oppo, for the new company Carl Pei will have an independent company and its own R&D department. In this way, the same models will not be on the scene with minor changes in sub brands.

What will happen to Nothing branded smart devices, which are said to be released in the first half of 2021, is currently unknown. The brand, which is thought not to produce only smartphones, is quite intriguing.
Saying that there are no more interesting things in the world of technology, Pei says it is time to change that. It is ironic that all these changes will be made with the company we have Turkishized as nothing.
