We’ve had to wait a long time, but starting today you can get started with Fortnite Season 3. Technically it’s Chapter 2, Season 3, but it looks easier to just call it the third season.

Before Fortnite Season 3 we already had a live event in the form of the “Device” event. As a result, the world we know so well has now been flooded. And that presents new challenges.

Fortnite Season 3 is here

At the time of writing, the servers are not yet live, but are under maintenance. This is because the correct patch must first be rolled out. If you can’t wait to get started with Fortnite Season 3, it’s a good idea to keep a close eye on the game’s maintenance page. Before we can get started ourselves, Epic Games has already released a nice trailer that gives you a bit of a preview of what’s to come.

What is striking about Fortnite Season 3 is that we see a cameo from Aquaman. That seems to be able to play the role that Deadpool had in the previous season. Furthermore, we naturally see a lot of water and the various options for traveling over it. But at the same time there seems to be enough land to play the game in a normal way. In addition, we also see several new vehicles. The trailer of the Battle Pass below gives you a little more insight into what will be possible in that regard.

In short, there seems to be a lot going on again in Fortnite Season 3. The game will probably have to go live again later in the morning and then you will probably have to download the update before you can actually go crazy alone or with your friends.
