Forza Horizon 4, one of the Xbox Games Studios games, also enters the Steam platform. One of the Xbox Games Studios games will be on the Steam platform very soon.
According to the announcement made by Microsoft and Playground Studios, Forza Horizon 4 will be released on Steam on March 9. Thus, for the first time, a game from the Forza series will be available on the Valve-owned PC store. It is even possible to add the game to your wish list from the Steam page already.
The popular racing game debuted on Xbox One and Windows 10 PC platforms in 2018. For the game, Playground Games did not neglect to provide constant updates with new expansions, new cars, and even the battle royale mode.
Meanwhile, every car pack ever released will be available for purchase on Steam, as well as Fortune Island and LEGO Speed Champions expansions. As with other Xbox Game Studios editions, Steam users will be able to compete with racers from Xbox consoles, Microsoft Store PC version and Xbox cloud game users thanks to cross-play across all platforms.
Unfortunately, players playing the game on another Xbox platform will not be able to save their progress if they switch to Steam due to technical limitations. On the other hand, it is stated that the transfer of leadership rank and club status is possible. Playground Games has also confirmed that the Hot Wheels Legends car pack will be coming to Forza Horizon 4 soon.
The number of Xbox Games Studios games on Steam is also increasing day by day. Some of the best examples of these are Sea of Thieves, Microsoft Flight Simulator, and Halo: The Master Chief Collection.
