Samsung’s favorites Galaxy S20 and Note 20 received camera update. With the update, you can record videos with dual cameras at the same time.
One of the new camera features Samsung introduced in the Galaxy S21 series was the Director’s View, and this feature was very much loved. This feature allowed the use of all rear cameras as well as the front camera while recording video. Galaxy S20 and Note 20 have now got a similar feature with the camera update.
A new camera mode called Dual Recording is being added to Galaxy S20 and Note 20 with the update offered over OTA. With this feature, video recording can be made simultaneously with both the rear and front cameras. During video recording, the front camera is displayed in a small frame and this frame can be fixed to any point on the screen.
You can watch how this feature works in the video below.
With this update, which you can download from the Settings> Software update section, Google’s May security patches are also added to the system. As with every Android update, this update will be available gradually. Therefore, it may take some time for the dual recording feature to arrive in our country.
For now, this feature is said to come to the S20, S20 +, S20 Ultra, Note 20 and 20 Ultra models. It is not yet known whether the Galaxy S20 FE, which is also sold at an affordable price in Turkey, has this feature. Upgrading to the issue of updating, Samsung may release the Android 12 update at the end of 2021 if it cannot get its speed. However, we think Android 12 will arrive in the S21 family in the first quarter of 2022.
