Launched in November for users with Android devices, Amazon’s GameOn application, which allows players to capture video clips from various mobile games that support screen recording and share them on the platform or on other sites, is now accessible to iOS users.
GameOn for iOS released
Amazon, owner of Twitch, one of the largest platforms for game streaming, allows gamers to record short-form video clips lasting from 30 seconds to 5 minutes with its GameOn app.
Compatible with over 1,200 mobile games, the GameOn app allows users to personalize clips with comments and other editing tools and share them in the built-in GameOn community or on social media. The app also has a clip discovery feature that allows users to find gameplay videos based on their interests and skill level.
The app is currently available for iOS users in some countries, but public access will be available in the future.
