realme is now determined to launch its flagship models. In December 2020, Qualcomm announced the new chipset Snapdragon 888. On the other hand, a report has been put forward that the realme Race series will come with this chipset. The phone, which will come with the RMX2202 model number, is expected to be released in February 2021. During the morning hours of today, realme China marketing head Xu Qi confirmed this news via Weibo.
The phone, which will become official after China’s traditional spring festival, will be sold primarily in China in the second half of February. Then we will see it in the global market. In addition, the Race Pro model is expected to be announced next month. Both phones can get their power from the Snapdragon 888 chipset.
The Race Pro handset will be like a phablet. It will come with a 6.8 inch OLED display. The phone with 1440 x 3200 QHD + resolution will be astonishing with 160Hz refresh rate. On the back, there will be a 64 MP main camera, 13 MP ultra wide angle camera and a 13 MP telephoto camera. With 12 GB of LPDDR5 RAM, it is not difficult to guess that it will be indispensable for gamers. It will be powered by a 5000 mAh battery with 125W fast charging support. Storage options will be 128 GB, 256 GB and 512 GB. It is not yet clear whether there is microSD card support. We will share detailed information with you after launch.
