South Korean technology maker Samsung has started the GPU update event that Qualcomm started in recent years, albeit late. The GPU update era has officially begun today for the Galaxy S20 and Note 20 models, which have both Snapdragon and Exynos chipsets.
With the GPU update offered by Samsung on the Play Store, there are noticeable increases in quality and performance in games. According to the information currently reported, there is an increase in FPS in games such as Fortnite, PUBG and Genshin Impact. For other games, an update will probably be released in the coming days.
Many game studios, game developers, and mobile game-related tools have partnered with Samsung to support Samsung’s GameDriver app. It should be noted that these companies include Crytek, Deep Silver, Game Evil, Microsoft, Square Enix, Super Evil Megacorp, Turn 10 and Unity.
With this move, Samsung wants to redistribute the cards in the mobile gaming area. Samsung, which will increase the performance of games with GPU updates, seems to support more games in the coming days.
