Digital asset manager Grayscale Investments reportedly abandoned a significant portion of its XRP and XLM assets.Grayscale’s XRP assets fell more than 9.18 million on December 29, according to data from Bybt, the crypto currency futures platform.
However, the total position of the company increased to 26.45 million XRP, or 5.77 million dollars. On the same day, Grayscale liquidated 9.74 million Stellar Lumens or XLM, increasing its total assets to 9.19 million XLM, or $ 1.27 million at today’s prices.
Grayscale’s assets under management have now increased to $ 19.26 billion, and Bitcoin accounts for 87% of the total.
The moves the company has made for XRP and XLM after the recent price drops could be a temporary reallocation strategy.
