Trying to combat the American edition and develop an alternative for Android, Huawei is at the last stage for Harmony OS!
We know that Google systems are not used on Huawei devices. For example, when you buy a new Huawei device, instead of finding the Google Play Store, you encounter Huawei AppGallery. Of course, when we compare it with the early times, Huawei seems to have overcome the deficiency caused by the inability to use Google at this stage. After 3 huge years, it is ready to bring its own operating system, now called Harmony OS 2.0, to the public! So what is this new operating system to be used on which device for the first time? Our answer is in the rest of the news.
Huawei P50 Series Will Be Crowned With Harmony OS!
Huawei Software Department head Dr. Wang Chenglu said in a TEDx keynote in China that “multiple devices” could switch to this new operating system by June 2021! According to the company’s own expectations, more than 300 million devices will be using this new operating system by the end of the year. We remember that we heard that the Huawei P50 series was also postponed to June with information we received recently. We want our good news! This may be because the devices will come with the brand’s new operating system!
The P50 series will be introduced with the Huawei MatePad Pro 2 tablet and new operating systems. In addition, we learned that old Huawei and Honor devices can also switch to this operating system. The point to note here is the chipset that the device contains. Unfortunately, devices that do not have a Kirin processor, that is, a Snapdragon or MediaTek processor, will not be able to use this operating system.
We know that this new operating system has already been tested on a Honor 9X device and is in beta phase 3.0. However, P40, Mate30 and MatePad Pro devices will also be among the first to try this operating system. If the results are successful, which we hope so, Huawei will introduce its operating system to the whole world and make it available globally!
We are as excited as you are. What do you think about Huawei’s efforts to make this Harmony OS? Do you think 3 years is enough time to develop an operating system and I wonder if Huawei will be successful in this too? We’ll have to wait and wait a little longer for the answers. You can be sure that when there are new developments, we will pass on!
