HarmonyOS 2.0 News: Huawei has clarified the HarmonyOS 2.0 operating system and all devices to be upgraded at the comprehensive event it held today.



Huawei managed to fit a lot of things into the comprehensive event it organized today. Eyes on what the HarmonyOS 2.0 version brings and of course the first phone to debut with this operating system was in the Huawei P50 series. Huawei showed the highly anticipated smartphone, albeit from the back. The camera design with two huge holes on the back, which has been the subject of our news for days, has thus been approved.

We mentioned the important developments in the HarmonyOS operating system, which Huawei hopes for after the Android operating system, in our news here. In addition to these, Huawei speaks very assertively about the graphics performance of the new operating system. We will have tested this development, which we are curious about, when we install it on the Huawei Mate 40 Pro model.

Now let’s come to the Android-based phones that Huawei will upgrade to the HarmonyOS operating system. There are more than 100 phones on the list and we were quite surprised that Huawei’s new version will take us to older models such as the Mate 9 and P10 series.

The HarmonyOS update will first be released for the Mate 40, P40, and Mate 30 series smartphones, as well as the MatePad Pro. Chinese users have started to experience the operating system from today.

The second wave of the update includes the Mate 20, Nova 8, Nova 7 and Nova 6 series smartphones, as well as the previously released MatePad. The update will be released in the next quarter.

For the last quarter of the year, Mate 30, P20, Nova 5 series phones as well as MediaPad M6 tablets are planned to switch to HarmonyOS operating system. In the first quarter of next year, Mate 9 and Mate 10 smartphones, Nova 5, P10 and P20 and MediaPad M5 tablets will meet with the new operating system.
