THE HAWKEYE SERIES IS ONE OF THE EXCLUSIVES OF DISNEY +, AND ACCORDING TO SCHEDULES, SHOULD BE RELEASED DURING THIS SAME YEAR
In addition to the MCU movies, Marvel Studios expands this cinematic universe with several exclusive Disney + TV shows. That’s where the Hawkeye series comes in.
Despite his name, it will not be entirely focused on Clint Barton, who is currently known as this hero. In reality, he will “prepare the ground” for his successor, Kate Bishop, who like him comes from the world of Marvel comics.
HAWKEYE IS ANOTHER MARVEL STUDIOS SERIES
From what has been shared so far, this production takes place after the Avengers: Endgame movie. That would make it part of Phase 4. However, part of the plot takes place during Phase 3, and that is when Clint becomes Ronin.
That is, when he drops the Hawkeye name for a while and becomes a criminal hunter. Especially those who survived after Thanos wiped out half the population of the universe.
Like other productions such as WandaVision, The Falcon and the Winter Soldier and Loki, it will be a television miniseries. Among the actors involved in this Hawkeye series is Jeremy Renner, who plays Clint Barton.
The same can be said for Hailee Steinfeld as Kate Bishop. While the plot falls on both of them, there are other artists who participate in this production. Some of them are well known.
THERE WILL BE RELATIONSHIP WITH THE BLACK WIDOW FILM
Vera Farmiga stars as Eleanor Bishop, Kate’s mother, while Fra Fee plays Kazi and Tony Dalton plays Jack Duquesne. The latter was one of Clint’s teachers.
Alaqua Cox is behind Maya López aka Echo, a young Native American who can perfectly copy someone else’s movements. Zahn McClarnon is William López, Maya’s father. Also participating is actor and musician Brian d’Arcy James.
Although in his case it is not known what role he has in the Hawkeye series. From what is known, actress Florence Pugh will also appear as Yelena Belova from the Black Widow movie.
The show is currently in post-production. The lead writer is Jonathan Igla, while some of the episodes are directed by Rhys Thomas and the film-making duo Bert & Bertie. The precise details are not well known.
Filming for the Hawkeye series began in December of last year. According to plan, it should be released during 2021. However, neither Marvel Studios nor Disney have revealed a precise exit window.
It is to be imagined that due to the current situation things are handled tentatively. Despite much progress in vaccination campaigns, group protection against the coronavirus has not been achieved.
We will have to keep an eye on this production, which at the moment does not know who will be the villain of the story. Much remains to be revealed.
