MIUI 12.5 update is finally starting globally. Which smartphones will receive the update out of China in the first place?
It started to be sent to Xiaomi phones as of April 1 for the MIUI 12.5 update. Xiaomi’s fledgling peak models Mi 11 Ultra and Mi 11 Pro have already debuted with the MIUI 12.5 version. Right after the introduction of these phones, Xiaomi Mi 10 Ultra was upgraded to MIUI 12.5. Before long, the update met with Mi 9 SE, a model that we can call a surprise. MIUI 12.5 is currently only available for distribution in China and will be released for more smartphones if no errors are detected.
MIUI 12.5 Update Goes Outside of China
The good news is that the update is finally out of China. The global version of MIUI 12.5 will meet with five smartphones in April. In addition to Xiaomi Mi 11, Mi 10, Mi 10 Pro, Mi 10T and Mi 10T Pro will receive the highly anticipated update in the first place.
The global version of MIUI 12.5 will not be released for another model in April. As of the end of May or the beginning of June, more Xiaomi / Redmi phones will benefit from the update. Moreover, most of these phones are mid-segment and low-budget phones. Redmi Note 8 Pro, Redmi Note 9 Pro and Redmi Note 10 Pro will be some models that will be upgraded to MIUI 12.5 during this period.
The only flagship phone to receive the stable global version of MIUI 12.5 during this period will be the POCO F2 Pro. The list also includes Xiaomi Mi 10 Lite, Xiaomi Mi Note 10, Mi Note 10 Pro, Mi Note 10 Lite, Redmi Note 9 / 9S / 9T, Redmi 9 and POCO X3.
